I recently stayed at a small hotel in Agueda, Portugal, and I must say it exceeded my expectations. The location was perfect, just a 2-minute walk from the city center. The room I stayed in was clean and spacious, and I assume the other rooms are similar. The hotel is situated in the older part of town, where you can find charming streets with hanging umbrellas. There are plenty of options for bars, cafes, and restaurants nearby. The basic breakfast provided was reasonably priced, and the wifi was reliable. Additionally, there is a free car park next door. The owner, Tiago, was a force of nature and extremely helpful. He even drove me to a nearby clinic when I needed to see a doctor. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Agueda.

I arrived late at Xpt Agueda and was impressed by the manager's thoughtful arrangement for key access and excellent communication. The room was small but cozy, with great heating and a nice design. It was impeccably clean, which was perfect for my overnight stay. Additionally, there were plenty of local restaurants nearby and the hotel offered a breakfast room. Although I left early, I was thoroughly satisfied with my experience. I highly recommend this hotel for its value and convenience.

We had a lovely overnight stay at a new accommodation just across the bridge on the flat river front. the room was clean and spacious with a very nice shower. the staff at Xpt Agueda - Alojamento Local were extremely helpful and assisted us with information and making our reservations for the following night. They even recommended an excellent dinner spot. The breakfast provided was very good and the location of the hotel in the center of the old town was perfect. Cons: Nothing not to love! 😍.
